How do I join?

Once you have created an Emmett's ToyStop account, you are automatically enrolled in the EXP Program, and are a member.

Membership in the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program is free. No purchase is necessary to obtain membership.

You are only allowed to have one account per natural person. Persons who are discovered to have more than one account forfeit their EXP and will be unsubscribed.

How do I earn EXP?

You can earn EXP with every purchase on EmmettsToyStop.com.

To receive EXP, you must log into your Emmett's ToyStop account. Reward EXP are generally added to a customer’s account once the order is paid, however some manual point attribution may take more time to be reflected in your EXP total.

How do I redeem EXP?

You can redeem experience in-store, or online for free items or monetary discounts.

Currently, the maximum amount of EXP that can be redeemed at one time is 10,000. However, this may change as the program develops.

Specific redemption items are exclusive to online and in-store purchases.

Do my experience points expire?

Nope! As long as our EXP program is active, EXP do not expire.

I earned points earlier this year, can I add them to my account?

Yes! Email loyalty@emmettstoystop.com using the email address associated with your account. Include your order dates and details and we'll have any points retroactively added.

I won a local, how do I receive my points?

EXP earned from tournament and local wins may take up to a week to be reflected in your EXP total.

If it's been over 5 business days, email loyalty@emmettstoystop.com with the details and we'll look into it for you.

What happens to my EXP if I return an item?

EXP earned for a purchase that is then the subject of a return, cancellation, refund or declined credit card, or other credit will be deducted from your account in an amount equal to the EXP earned for the original transaction.

I'm under 18, can I join?

If you are under 18 you may only use the Emmett's ToyStop EXP Program with the permission of a legal representative/guardian.

General

These terms and conditions (“Loyalty Terms”) define the conditions of membership in the Emmett's ToyStop loyalty reward program (the “Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program”) set up and managed by Emmett's ToyStop Inc., a Canadian corporation which allows members to earn loyalty reward points (“EXP”) to benefit from.

Membership

By creating an Emmett's ToyStop account on the website of EmmettsToyStop.com you consent to becoming a membership in the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program and the applicability of our Privacy Policy. Once you have created your account, you are automatically enrolled in the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program, and are a member.

Membership in the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program is free. No purchase is necessary to obtain membership.

You are only allowed to have one account per natural person. Persons who are discovered to have more than one account forfeit their EXP and will be unsubscribed from the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program.

Eligibility

Persons eligible for membership are limited to those natural persons, who are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18 you may only use the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program with the permission of a legal representative.

We may refuse admission to any person who does not meet the requirements pertaining to the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program. We are not required to provide any reason in case of denial of membership.

Earning Points

You can earn EXP with every purchase on EmmettsToyStop.com. To receive EXP, you must log into your Emmett's ToyStop account. Reward EXP are generally added to a customer’s account once the order is paid, however some manual point attribution may take more time to be reflected in your EXP total.

Points are based on your order total after deduction of any discount codes (including discount codes for gift cards), but including taxes and shipping costs.

EXP earned for a purchase that is then the subject of a return, cancellation, refund or declined credit card, or other credit will be deducted from your account in an amount equal to the EXP earned for the original transaction.

Redeeming EXP

EXP must be used in increments outlined in these Loyalty Terms. The maximum number of EXP that may be used in a single transaction is 10,000.

You can use only one discount code per transaction. Reward discount codes may not be combined with other discount codes, unless specified. EXP accumulated on different accounts by different members may not be combined or aggregated to make purchases of products or for any other reason.

Expiration

As long as the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program is in place, EXP do not expire.

Other

The creation of an Emmett's ToyStop account by you and the use of the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program implies your full acceptance of these Loyalty Terms, together with any and all rules and policies provided by us, including our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to change these Loyalty Terms at any time by posting revised terms on this website. You are advised to check the Loyalty Terms on this website from time to time for any updates or changes that may impact you.

We reserve the right without notice to cancel, hold, void, suspend or restrict the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program, your account, the redemption of EXP, or any aspect of the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program, including, without limitation, the point conversion ratio and the point expiration policy at any time.

We may revoke your membership in the Emmett's ToyStop Loyalty Program if we believe or suspect fraud or abuse relating to the accrual of EXP or redemption of rewards.

Your EXP balance, as reflected in our records, shall be deemed correct. We reserve the right to determine the amount of EXP in your account based on Emmett's ToyStop internal records related to your account. In the event of an inconsistency between the amount accrued in your account as stated on your receipt and our internal records, our internal records will control.

EXP are non-transferable, nonredeemable for cash, are non-refundable and are not valid outside of EmmettsToyStop.com. Purchases made outside EmmettsToyStop.com are not valid for point accrual.
We will make reasonable efforts to award you EXP as outlined above, but we are not responsible for any technical or unforeseen errors that may occur.
All EXP and subsequent rewards must be gained, earned, and used in accordance with the rules and guidelines in these Loyalty Terms. We have the final authority to decide whether an activity qualifies for EXP and / or discount codes.
We shall not be liable for any loss, expense (including, without limitation, attorneys' fees), accident, or inconvenience that may arise in connection with the use of EXP or discount codes, or as a result of any defect or failure of rewards save to the extent in which such damage or loss arises out of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, except as otherwise provided by applicable laws. Nothing in this Agreement shall restrict our liability pursuant to applicable law.
You agree to not use your membership in any manner that is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, unfair, or otherwise harmful to us and/or our customers.

Governing Law

You agree these Loyalty Terms and all claims or causes of action arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario, excluding its conflicts of laws provisions, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, any dispute arising under these Loyalty Terms.
