What are Pokémon prerelease tournaments?

Pokémon TCG Prerelease tournaments allow players to receive and play with cards from upcoming expansions up to two weeks before the set’s official release date!

You cannot receive or open packs or promotional material if you will not be participating in the event.

If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the event, we will refund your ticket to store credit only. 

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event or after the start time will not be refunded.

Event Prizing Policy

Prizing is awarded based on final standings at the conclusion of each event.
Prizes may include sealed product, store credit, or other merchandise, depending on attendance and event type.

Store Credit Information

  • Store credit is redeemable for merchandise at Emmett’s ToyStop only.
  • It cannot be redeemed for cash, does not expire, and has no cash value.
  • Store credit may be issued digitally or on a physical card.
  • Players under 18 are eligible to receive store credit prizes.
  • For players under 13, a parent or guardian may be informed of the prize balance upon request.
  • Lost or stolen store credit cannot be replaced.

All prize structures are determined by Emmett’s ToyStop in accordance with Pokémon Organized Play guidelines and may vary by event size or format.
