What Is Two-Headed Giant Commander Night?

Two-Headed Giant Commander Night is a new Commander event in which players can earn promo cards by pairing up to battle other two-player teams. Each player has their own 100-card Commander deck, but they share a 60-point life pool. Play follows the normal Two-Headed Giant rules.

Prizing

Each participant receives one promo (Spider-Ham, Peter Porker), a spider-man booster pack, plus extra promos and promo packs per pod raffled off during play! You must play to receive your promos and prizing.

Play Rules + Modifiers

Play, plan, and battle as a team. In Two-Headed Giant, the life total is shared and starts at 60 life. In Two-Headed Giant, each two-player team shares a starting 60 life and takes their turn simultaneously.

The team does not share any other resources other than life. For instance, any reference to "you" on a card still applies to the individual holder.

Effects that read "each opponent" or "each player", however, affect each team member separately. Players can block any creature(s) that are attacking them, their teammates, or Planeswalkers their team controls.

The team that goes first skips their first draw step.
Commander: 99 card deck + a Commander card.
- There is no unified construction, though each player's deck should be a legal Commander deck by itself.
- Each team starts with 60 life.
- A team loses when they take 21 or more damage from a single commander OR have 15 or more poison counters.

Event Prizing Policy

Prizing is awarded based on final standings at the conclusion of each event.
Prizes may include sealed product, store credit, or other merchandise, depending on attendance and event type.

Store Credit Information

Store credit is redeemable for merchandise at Emmett’s ToyStop only.
It cannot be redeemed for cash, does not expire, and has no cash value.
Store credit may be issued digitally or on a physical card.
Players under 18 are eligible to receive store credit prizes.
For players under 13, a parent or guardian may be informed of the prize balance upon request.
Lost or stolen store credit cannot be replaced.

All prize structures are determined by Emmett’s ToyStop in accordance with Pokémon Organized Play guidelines and may vary by event size or format.
